Ultra Compact CL 208 is a standard among professional users worldwide. In its new self-powered version, CPD 08 complements the KS AUDIO CPD-Series of DSP controlled active self-powered systems with built-in amplifiers and a DSP Controller. An integrated PWM amplifier – 200W for the 8”- long excursion low-mid speakerand an analog FET-amplifier – 50W for the 1” driver - with a peak performance of 400W. The FIR crossover and filter are specially designed for the speaker and maximize audio quality compared to passive system. With CPD 08, KS AUDIO has responded to the demanding needs of the professional user with a modular self-powered loudspeaker with the highest audio quality in a compact size. There are many applications in which the CPD 08 can be used: surround sound speakers in a Theatre, for small live events, in media-rooms, for use at a conference or convention, in large rooms or tents as a front fill or as a delay system for long throw, or as a compact top used with any KS AUDIO subwoofer. We recommend the CPD B2 Sub. CPD 08 is equipped with an 8” Neodymium low-mid speaker with 200Wrms, and a 50Wrms 1” Neodymium compression driver with a dispersion of 90°x60°. Because of this, CPD 08 can be mounted vertically or laterally. The speaker cabinet construction is, like any KS AUDIO system, built from birch plywood with an extremely durable PU-coating. All RAL colors available. A pole mount on the bottom of the cabinet, 4xM6 threaded rigging points, and a protective steel grill, with or without acoustic foam, are further features of this premium product. The rear mounted 2-way DSP-controller amplifier operates very efficiently without the need of a cooling fan. The FIR crossover and filter are specially matched to the drivers, with corresponding compressors and limiters to ensure safe operation. The electronically balanced input are XLR F+M connectors. In addition to the power switch, the control panel also has a selectable digital volume / delay control to individually adjust for each venue and offers a digital delay reaching up to 40 m for decentralized PA systems. The power supply on the CPD 08 operates on AC 117V-230V with soft-start using PowerCon Connector.
